Code of Conduct (§)

1.1 Connect with each other!

Through its structure and features, YouLoggit aims to minimize the negative side effects of social media and instead strengthen people's self-confidence, satisfaction, and sense of togetherness. This works best through clearly regulated, thriving interaction. Our request to users:

Connect with each other! Don't hesitate to take the first step. It's about making progress with your own resolutions and goals. A significant part of the energy you need for that comes from interacting with like-minded people. Encourage each other! Share experiences! Build friendships based on shared interests, not one-sided demands.

If necessary, you can set clear boundaries in your privacy settings.

1.2 Extension of the Terms of Use

In addition to the Terms of Use and the accepted Privacy Policy, this Code of Conduct also applies. Even if "code" may sound like guidance only, it is a legally binding extension of the Terms of Use. The rules stated here must not be violated. Depending on the severity of the violation, appropriate measures may be taken; see also Section 10. Restricting access to your account in the Terms of Use.

If you believe that measures taken were applied incorrectly, you may file an objection.

The YouLoggit Code of Conduct is the basis for constructive coexistence and responsible behavior within our community. As a side note: these are simply the obvious rules of reasonable people.

• Respectful conduct:
  Treat all YouLoggit members with respect and courtesy, regardless of their views or opinions. Avoid insulting or demeaning language, even if you disagree.
• No harassment:
  Harassment of any kind—whether verbal, sexual, racist, or any other form—will not be tolerated. This also includes unwanted messages or stalking other members.
• Compliance with laws:
  Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright and data protection rules. Misuse of YouLoggit by sharing or distributing illegal content of any kind or violating the intellectual property rights of others is not permitted.
• No discrimination:
  Discrimination based on gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other personal characteristics is unacceptable. YouLoggit is intended to be a safe and inclusive place for all members.
• No spam or advertising content:
  Do not post spam messages or unsolicited advertising for products or services. This also includes excessive posting of the same content or repeatedly sending messages to members.
• Respect for privacy:
  Do not share other users' personal information in public places—such as addresses, phone numbers, or private messages— without explicit consent.
• Helpfulness:
  Be helpful and supportive toward new members. Share your knowledge and experience to help others find their way in the community. Be patient and understanding with those who are still learning.
• Constructive communication:
  Strive for constructive and helpful contributions in discussions. Avoid unnecessary confrontation and arguments. If you disagree, express yourself respectfully, focus on the arguments, and avoid making it personal.
• Reporting procedure:
  Report violations of this Code of Conduct promptly using the "Report violation" buttons provided in context, contact this group moderators, or send YouLoggit a message via the channels specified in the Terms of Use in Section 13. This helps identify issues quickly and respond appropriately.
• Consequences for violations:
  Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in measures, including warnings and temporary or permanent exclusion from YouLoggit. This is governed by the Terms of Use in Section 10. The severity of measures depends on the nature of the violation and may vary depending on the situation.
